Aliyah Fund Inc. Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in any sweepstakes, raffle, or promotional drawing (“Sweepstakes”) conducted by Aliyah Fund Inc., including its d/b/a Yeshiva Mesechta (“Sponsor,” “we,” or “us”). By entering, participants (“Entrant,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• Open to individuals who are legal residents of the United States and at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
  
  

• Void where prohibited by law.
  
  

• Employees, officers, or directors of the Sponsor and their immediate families may be excluded at our discretion.
  
  

2. How to Enter

Entrants may enter the Sweepstakes in one of the following ways:

A. Paid Entry

Purchase entries through our website or any other method designated by the Sponsor.
A purchase does not increase your chances of winning.

B. AMOE – Alternate Method of Entry (No Purchase Necessary)

To enter without making a purchase, mail a standard 3" x 5" postcard containing your full name, address, phone number, email address, and the specific Sweepstakes you are entering to:

• Postcard must be received before the end of the Sweepstakes period.
  
  

• One AMOE submission per raffle.
  
  

• Each valid AMOE submission equals one entry.
  
  

3. Number of Entries

• The Sweepstakes will be limited to 199 entrants, plus an additional one day of unlimited entries (as posted or advertised by Sponsor).
  
  

• Odds of winning depend entirely on the total number of entries received, including paid entries and AMOE entries.
  
  

4. Accuracy of Entries

We will make every reasonable effort to ensure all entries are recorded. However, we are not responsible for entries, names, or submissions left out due to accident, error, or technical issues.
Such omissions do not entitle any entrant to compensation, refund, or other remedy.

5. Drawing and Winner Selection

• The winner will be selected at a random drawing conducted at the sole discretion and timing of the Sponsor.
  
  

• We will use the contact information provided at the time of entry.
  
  

• If we cannot reach the selected winner within 3 business days, the winner forfeits the prize and an alternate winner may be chosen.
  
  

6. Prizes

• Prize description will be listed on the applicable Sweepstakes page.
  
  

• The selected winner may be required by the Sponsor to choose up to three additional recipients to share the prize. The total prize will be divided equally among all recipients.
  
  

• Each recipient must provide their full name for publicity purposes and submit a photo of all recipients with the prize before claiming.
  
  

• No prize transfers, exchanges, or cash redemptions unless required by law or permitted by Sponsor.
  
  

• Taxes: Each recipient is responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes on their share of the prize. By splitting the prize so that each recipient receives less than $600, no 1099-MISC will be issued by the Sponsor; however, the prize is still considered taxable income to each recipient under IRS rules.
  
  

7. Publicity Requirements

By entering and/or accepting a prize, you agree to the following:

• Sponsor may use your full name, city, and state for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes, both online and offline, without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
  
  

• As a condition of winning, the winner must submit a clear photograph of themselves holding the prize.
  
  

• Failure to provide the required photograph within the timeframe specified by the Sponsor will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.
  
  

8. Halachic Resolution Clause

In the event of any dispute, question, or ambiguity relating to the Sweepstakes or these Terms, the matter will be referred to a Halachic Torah Authority selected solely by the Sponsor, whose decision will be final and binding.

9. Limitation of Liability

By participating, you agree that the Sponsor is not liable for:

• Lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, or incomplete entries
  
  

• Technical failures or errors
  
  

• Any printing, typographical, or administrative mistake
  
  

• Any accidental omission of names or entries
  
  

• Any damages or losses related to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance of a prize
  
  

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive all claims against Sponsor arising from your participation.

10. Modification or Termination

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes or these Terms at any time if fraud, technical failures, legal issues, or other factors impair the integrity of the promotion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, except where superseded by applicable federal law.
